The invention is concerned with an apparatus for scraping the bottom wall of a coke oven chamber adjacent the chamber opening so as to remove deposits which would otherwise prevent the sealing insertion of the chamber door into the opening. The apparatus has a support which can be inserted into and withdrawn from the chamber opening. A scraping tool is mounted on the support so that it can pivot between an upwardly tilted position which it assumes as the apparatus is being inserted into the chamber opening, and a downwardly tilted position in which a horizontally extending scraping edge of the tool engages the bottom wall of the coke oven chamber to scrape away deposits therefrom as the support is withdrawn from the chamber opening. A biasing arrangement biases the scraping tool into engagement with the bottom wall when the scraping tool is in the downwardly pivoted position.

The invention relates to the metallurgical industry, namely to devices for stripping the hearth of coking furnaces.
The closest technical solution to the present invention is a device for stripping the coke oven, which includes a frame, a lever with cleaning elements mounted on the frame, means for pressing the lever, flexible scraper elements installed on the cleaning element on both sides and connected between a spring 1.
A disadvantage of the known device is that it does not have the means to change the position of the cleaning elements in the vertical direction, which prevents its use for servicing furnaces, under which it is located at different levels.
The purpose of the invention is to provide the possibility of servicing furnaces, under which is located at different levels,
 This goal is achieved by the fact that in the device for stripping the coke oven, including a frame lever with cleaning elements mounted on a paijie, means for pressing the lever, flexible scraper elements pivotally mounted on the cleaning element on both its sides and interconnected by a spring, the means for pressing is made in the form of a vertical spring-loaded rod, fixed on the frame by means of a pivoting lever.
In addition, the device is equipped with a stop fixed on the frame interacting with a pivoting arm.
FIG. 1 shows a device, side view; in fig. 2 is a view along arrow A in FIG. one; in fig. 3 is a section A-A in FIG. one.
The device for cleaning the furnace floor 1 includes a frame 2, a lever 3 with a cleaning element 4. On the cleaning element k there are pivotally hinged on both sides: flexible scraper elements 5 interconnected by a spring 6. The lever 3 has a means for pressing, made in the form vertical spring rod 7, mounted on the frame by means of the pivot arm 8. On the frame 9 is fixed stop 10, which interacts with the pivot arm 8. Frame 11 has a protective screen 12.
The device works as follows.
Upon entry of the stripping device into the furnace chamber, the frame 9 is in a lowered position, in which the anvil 10 fixed on it takes the lower position. As a result of the own weight of the spring-loaded rod 7, the lever 3 with the cleaning elements i and 5 is pressed to the upper position (shown
dash-dotted lines). After entering the furnace, the frame rises, the support moves to the upper position, the vertical current 7 simultaneously rises, and the cleaning elements i and 5
lowered to the working position. As soon as cleaning tools for ra-. we kilns finish their work, the entire stripping device is outputted from the camera. The lowered cleaning elements and 5 slide along the hearth 1 and the walls 13 of the chamber and the residues adhered there are removed and removed from the furnace. When leaving the furnace, the frame 9 is lowered again, and the cleaning elements k and S are folded up. Limit switch 1 is turned on, which serves to lock the device.
Supplying the lever with the cleaning elements with a spring-loaded rod allows you to change the vertical position of the lever with the cleaning elements and service the furnaces with different heights of the hearth.
